Writing Book three
This last book is going to be the most out there. I don’t want to tame it down, I want to give it my full force, but I think I’m going to have to put some pretty heavy readers warnings on the listing because I can totally understand how the kinks that I’m about to write about will not be everyones cup of tea. But I write for myself, the me in my readers. And it would be remiss of me to bulk when the kinks get heavy. And I love to read about things that make my eyes pop out of my head, even if they’re not for me - I still like to read about them, which I’m hoping is going to be the same for this story.
I started writing again this weekend, having been thinking about this book for months, it felt weird to sit down and actually start it. As usual little ideas popped up that I hadn’t even considered which I love about the way I write. Sure I have the bones and structure of how the story is going to go, however the ‘flesh’ of the story, that’s all made up as I go. And its so fun, because even I don’t know what the heck I’m going to pull out of the archives in my subconscios until I’ve written it.
I’m 1.5 chapters in and am currently loving writing. It’s just hard to squeeze it in around my work, the kids, excercise, kids activities, life in general. I’m constantly trying to figure out how I’m going snag myself a few hours or an evening of indulgent writing. Maybe like Rosie, something has to give. But right now, I can’t give up my own businesses yet, no one has paid to play with my body! Alas, I need to keep working to pay the bills. But it has crossed my mind that I could investigate that area for ‘research.’ Then I remember i’m time poor, I have my own James to satisfy and really, where does one find an underground kink club? Asking for a friend.
One thing to note about May, I realised I was listing my book in the wrong category on Amazon. Talk about kick myself to Monday. But it’s only been 1.5 months incorrectly listed, and the good news is, now my book is in the correct category (hello BDSM Erotica) The Secret Club comes up on the top 100 Best Seller List amoungst some of the greats! How amazing is that!
And whilst I talk about mini wins, I received an email yesterday from a reader that simpy said: Amazing Imagination. Made my day!
Thanks for joining me on this journey,
