October 2025 Amazon Results

October started off well, plodding along until a story from Ginger & Spice on Instagram to say they were reading The Secret Club gave a little spike to my page reads. Then they released a reel to say The Secret Club was the spiciest book they’ve ever read and that just about made my year. I went from on average 25k reads a day to reach some goals I didn’t even dream I would reach. Whilst i’m still an indie and know i’m not reaching millions, it has been an incredible boost to. my book and series and my mental health. I think the ultimate goals I reached this month were:

  • 100k KU page reads in one day

  • #1 Best Seller in my category in the UK (BDSM Erotica)

  • Reaching 2m Page reads for The Secret Club since its release in March

  • #1 Best seller in my category in the UK for Book three in the Clarendon Series (Bisexual Erotica)

  • 2m page reads for October

  • $10k in book sales and page reads

Just to bring things back down to reality, I launched my standalone to 10 pre-orders and 2k page reads on its first day. I have received some incredible reviews because I ARC’d this book. I didn’t have high expectations for the launch, I had more curiousity to see how it goes. It’s a great, fun spicy story. But it’s not THE ONE if you know what I mean. I created this story for a whole bunch of reasons which were:

1. Can i even write something else?

2. Can I write in dual POV and pull it off?

3. Am I capable of writing a story with a little more depth and personailty?

4. Will people enjoy it?

5. Will people read it after The Clarendon Playmates series?

I’m going to sit tight, create some ads on BookBub next weekend and use it as a more gentle lead into my writing and series because I feel The Secret Club is quite a lot for people to go into blind…. This story gives me hope for my writing and my story skills. I’m humbled by the responses I’ve received so far. To be honest I’m humbled by all the reviews I receive across all my books. They keep coming and I hope and prey they will always continue. I know the hype from my Ginger & Spice book review might dissipate but I really prey it’s enough to keep me going.

In other news, I had a bumpy start writing The Hucow Hotel. I commissioned the cover to bring it to life more and inspire my writing. It’s lovely and is different to the other Hucow books on the market. And I know the story is worlds away too. I love writing it, its finding the time that is my problem…

More other news. I commissoned my first NSFW art with Lucky Knox. He is an incredibly talented artist. He is also a really good time and makes the best videos.

Also, I was asked to be on The Naughty Nooks Podcast here in Australia - How Amazing! And nerve racking!

And I started investigating Audio Options. I have a name of a producer in the US but I reached out to someone I know in Australia. Then I deeply regretted it because I haven’t told anyone in my real life about my books. Now she knows that I wrote the most pornographic erotic book ever. And she’s considering whether she is willing to produce it this weekend. I feel sick. I know what I wrote and even I can’t say it out lout….. Arghhhhh

What’s on for November? Writing. Finishing The Hucow Hotel which is similar to The Clarendon Playmates series. But hyper focused on a particular kink. I think I’m going to do a few hyper focused kink books, this one being the first….
