November 2025 Amazon Results

The highs of November was seeing The Secret Club #1 in the UK BDSM Charts category & #1 in the UK for Erotica Suspense for most of the month. Plus The Secret Proposal was also #1 in LGBTQ Erotica category for most of the month too. The Secret Job also made an appearence at #2 for much of the month also. It sure was a cracking month, there is no doubt about it. I have no idea if I’ll ever do better, I sure hope so, but I certainly strive to continue writing books that my audience love. I didn’t kick the initial goals from last month but I did hang around for most of the month in the top spots yay:

  • Realised I can now say I’m an Amazon best selling author!!!

Here’s the reality check, Women in Warehouse 13 failed to thrive. I just got it all wrong in the lead up. I should have done a different more playful cover. Write a more intriguing blurb. The ARC sign up wasn’t strong and the hype wasn’t so hypeful. So I take those lessons and I learn from them. The good news is, from the reviews that I did receive, they’ve been great and people have been pleasently surprised (at least the people who have never read any of my books should I say).

I never heard back from my friend who is an audio producer, I’m guessing my book was well past her boundries and that is absolutely fine. I did follow up and sadly I heard nothing back. However, I did have a fabulous meeting with Two Bird Audio and I would love to have my book produced by them. I have emailed over my manuscript because I am now super wary after my first experience whether they want to take on my book or not. Because at the end of the day it is all smut. So I am sitting tight on hearing back on that. Failing that option, I have been given a few more producer possibilities by author friends. I guess I just take one day at a time. What will be will be.

I have stopped looking at Goodreads because the highs and lows of those either raving or hating reviews were honestly eating into my soul. I was giving too much energy into the hate and it was tainting the love from the other reviews because I just couldn’t enjoy it.

I have been writing day and night like a women obsessed to get The HuCow Hotel written. I have kicked myself every day that I set myself such a deadline. I will never ever do that again. It is finished but it’s with my editor. I hope and pray I can get it done and released in between Christmas and New Years. I did have a wobble on the book cover but an author friend potted out it’s unlikley to attracted the type of readership I was aiming for. Therefore it’s currently being re-done to look more like my other series and less like a whimsical romantic holiday for two because lets be honest, it couldn’t be any further away then that. And my goodness it’s so smutty at the end, it gives my first series a run for its money……

December and January I have given myself permisson to take it easy and recoup after such a full on year of writing. I am already struggling with that notion and have at least outlined the next book I’d like to write, whilst planning Sophie’s and Sandy’s story….
