December 2025 Amazon Results
December I learnt a few things but the biggest lesson was: People like reading festive books in December. So, to my future self, please write a festive banger in time for December 2026.
December was quieter then I was expecting, I guess I wasn’t expecting so many people to read festive novels. I did manage to get The Hucow Hotel book finished by the skin of my teeth. It was uploaded just before Christmas and I managed to send the ARCS out on the 22nd December. Getting that book written and published was a Christmas miracle in all fairness. I will never give myself such a tight deadline again. Learnt that lesson last month. But I so wanted to have the new book available just after christmas and catch those readers. The blood, sweat and tears paid off because The Hucow Hotel was well received and had 35K page reads by December 31st.
I think the best thing that happened was seeing The Hucow Hotel come in at #1 new release in the UK for Horror Erotica & Suspense Erotica. It’s also been in the top 10 in the UK since it’s release and top 25 in the US.
I received the finished audio script back from The Naughty Nook girls. And I received an email from Two Birds Audio that they haven’t forgotten me, it’s just that time of year. Hoping to kick January off with a signed Audio contract and get Sophie’s story underway. I do fear the forced writing break (which I desparetely needed) due my inlaws arriving and christmas and school holidays. But now I’m second guessing myself and how on earth I wrote the first five stories. I am hoping that I just need to sit down and start writing, and the characters will come to life and flow.
I’m going to list Decembers results below but first I will give a little insight into the final figures for the year.
